质量标准:【产品介绍】Carboxypeptidase N is a plasma
metallo-protease that cleaves basic amino acids from the
C terminal of peptides and proteins. CPN1 is important
in the regulation of peptides like kinins
and anaphylatoxins, and it has also been known as
kininase-1 and anaphylatoxin inactivator. It is a
tetramer comprised of two identical regulatory subunits
and two identical catalytic subunits; CPN1 is the
catalytic subunit. Mutations in this protein can
be associated with angioedema or chronic
urticaria resulting from carboxypeptidase N
deficiency (1).
Note: The 48-kDa form is generated by proteolytic
cleavage at the C-terminus. This subunit is cleaved into
a peptide of 27 kDa (2).
