质量标准:【产品介绍】DDIT4 / REDD-1 is a transcriptional target
of p53 induced following DNA damage. It functions in
the regulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which
is involved in p63-mediated regulation of
epithelial differentiation (1). DDIT4 / REDD-1 inhibits
mTOR kinase activity in non-muscle and muscle
cells downstream of Akt/PKB and upstream of TSC2. As
a stress responsive negative regulator of mTOR signaling,
it is implicated in controlling skeletal muscle size
(2). Studies show either a pro- or an anti-apoptotic
role during the stress response, depending on the
cell context (3). Furthermore, DDIT4 / REDD-1 is
essential for hypoxia regulation of TORC1 activity (4).
