【产品介绍】Folliculin, or FLCN, functions as a 
tumor suppressor. It forms a complex with novel 
folliculin-interacting proteins 1 and 2 (FNIP1 and 
FNIP2), and 5'-AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), 
an important energy sensor in cells that 
negatively regulates mammalian target of rapamycin 
(mTOR) (1). FLCN is associated with Smith-Magenis 
syndrome. Mutations in FLCN are associated 
with Birt-Hogg-Dube syndrome, which is characterized 
by fibrofolliculomas, renal tumors, lung cysts, 
and pneumothorax (2).

collaboration between Epitomics, the National
 Cancer Institute's Center for Cancer Research and the 
lab of Marston Linehan.

Store at -20 °C. Antibody buffer, 0.01% sodium azide, 
50% Glycerol and 0.05% BSA. Stable for 12 months from date
