质量标准:【产品介绍】The insulin receptor is an essential
protein present on the surface of virtually all
cells. Little is known about the control of the level
of this protein on cellular surfaces, but it has been
found that the level of insulin receptor protein
correlates roughly with the level of insulin receptor
(IR) gene transcripts within cells (1). The insulin
receptor plays a critical role in the maintenance of
glucose homeostasis. Regulation of this key function must
be under stringent controls (2). Insulin receptor
substrate 1 (IRS-1) and src homology and collagen
protein (SHC) are signaling proteins which are
rapidly phosphorylated on tyrosines after insulin
receptor activation. It has been shown that both SHC
and IRS-1 interact with the tyrosine-phosphorylated
NPEY motif of the IR and insulin-like growth factor
I receptor via non-SH2 domains (3).

Products Data
A. Western blot analysis on HepG2 cell lysates
using anti-Phospho-INSR/IGF-R (pY1185) RabMAb
(cat. #2182-1), 1:500 dilution. Cells were either
(A) untreated or (B) treated with insulin.
Specificity
A phospho synthetic peptide corresponding to
residues surrounding Tyrosine 1185 of human INSR was used
as an immunogen. This antibody detects INSR
phosphorylated at Tyrosine 1185.
