质量标准:【产品介绍】Ki-67 antigen is a nuclear antigen
specifically associated with cell proliferation. Ki-67
is expressed in all proliferating cells which are in
the active phases of the cell cycle (late G1, S, G2,
a n d mitosis), but absent in resting cells. In G1, it
is predominately localized in the perinucleolar region
a n d also found in nuclear matrix in the later phases
(1). Ki-67 is thought to be involved in the maintaining
of cell proliferation, however, its exact mechanism
f o r function is unknown. Due to the fact that Ki-67 can
be used to determine the growth fraction (the prop o r
tion of the cells committed to the cell cycle), it
is consider an imp o r tant marker in human tum
o r diagnostics a n d prognostics (2).
