Character：
浅橙黄色结晶无味粉末，无臭无味。约250℃色变深并炭化。溶于热的稀盐酸和硫磺，略溶于乙酸、酚、吡啶、氢氧化碱和碳酸碱溶液，不溶于乙醇和丁醇，微溶于甲醇，水中溶解度:1.6 mg/L (25°C)),沸水中约可溶1%，不溶于乙醚、丙酮、氯仿和苯。
熔点: 250℃  
比旋光度[a]20/D :20° (c=1, 0.1N NaOH)
